Parson's Pureaire Kitchen

A reader of Dwell sent these images in. They picture a vintage "closet" kitchen that was in the home they are remodeling. Unfortunately, it doesn't "go" with their plans for renovation, but it's so gorgeous and in beautiful condition, they'd like to find it a good home. I think it would be ideal in a little guest cottage or suite. Or in a small studio/one bedroom.

SF update

If you're feeling a little lost lately because I haven't been posting, this is for you! :) I've been very busy. We're in the midst of redesigning dwell.com and it's a big job! I also took a four-day jaunt to Boston to make sure my friends there hadn't forgotten me. And in between, I'm still getting to know San Francisco and getting my new apartment settled. I've thrown two birthday celebrations and have our guest room all prepped for visitors! I'm also getting more settled in at work. Here are a few corners of my "office".

Rapper's Recession: the gold teeth have got to go

Unfortunately, I missed the Grammys tonight. So I was just catching up. Can someone please tell me what is up with T-Pain's grill? This has to be the funniest thing I've read in awhile, via Starpulse (and no, I don't read that on a regular basis):

"Yo, my hip-hop brothers, some words of wisdom: these are hard times. Don’t know if you heard, but we’re in a recession. People are losing their homes. Folks’ retirement funds are tanking. People are pawning their jewelry for gas money. It’s time to reel in the bling. The days of ’90s excess are over and out. All the gold ropes and gold teeth have got to go. You need to trade them in for cash and then hold on to it. Stuff it in those high-tops until the banks are safe again. No more shopping sprees. No more Hummers. No more Cristal. Back to basics, folks."

Get your paisley on.
